"On Saturday 14th May 2022, The Mansfield Lodge of Instruction and guests boarded their annual coach trip to London, now reinstated post-pandemic.
They enjoyed a fabulous tour of the home of Freemasonry in England taking in many sights like the original throne of George 1V or the first ever book of constitutions; to a whole host of memorabilia covering the 300 years of our existence.
There is a real feast of valuable and important displays showing historical items, showing celebrity items and curiosity items most often only gathered together in the British Museum, something of interest for everyone.
Pictured here in Temple 10, often called the Indian Temple is a group of lodge members who all agreed on one thing; that you cannot help feeling a tinge of pride at being part of our fabulous organisation.
After the tour, the group enjoyed a few hours in the city, some shopping, some eating and some drinking. For the fastest among us, all of the above!
Whatever they did, though, they all enjoyed the day so much, that they're going again next year.
