Companions from Nottinghamshire, including the Grand Superintendent, Deputy Grand Superintendent, Second and Third Provincial Grand Principals, PGM, Deputy PGM and Inspector General attended the annual investiture convocation of Supreme Grand Chapter at Great Queen Street on 28 April. They witnessed the Pro First Grand Principal, Peter Geoffrey Lowndes, the Second Grand Principal, Russell John Race, and the Third Grand Principal, Gareth Jones, open Grand Chapter in the splendour of the Grand Temple and were able to support companions who were being appointed or promoted on the day. Our congratulations go to David Barber on his promotion to Past Grand Sword Bearer, Phil Parker on his appointment to Past Grand Standard Bearer and Bryan Spilsbury on his appointment to Past Assistant Grand Director of Ceremonies.
As can be seen from the photographs, they then enjoyed a convivial lunch at a local restaurant.
